If you are like me you are hooked on the Underbelly TV series – both the first one last year that showcased the Melbourne Gangland killings and now this year which takes us back to the 70′s and focuses on police corruption and the drug trade.
It’s just awesome stuff – not the drugs and all – but the way it’s all put together. I love these crime shows, especially when it’s based on actual events.
Anyway in both series there has been plenty of skin shown, and of course the actors have to be in pretty great shape so they look good naked on TV – you don’t want the nation to see all your faults do you?! That’s motivation alone to keep on track with your weight loss workouts.
So this got me thinking.
Being a leading Sydney Personal Trainer, I decided to come up with the Underbelly Workout: The Look Good Naked Ultimate Gym Workout Routine.
This is the type of gym workout routine that I would give to anybody, actor or average Joe or Jane, who has to get into shape so they can look good naked and not have to rely on the lights being off all the time.
Drum roll, cause here it is:
NOTE: This is not for beginners. You must already have a few runs under your belt before you attempt this pretty full on gym workout routine.
WARM UP: Dynamic Body Weight Movements for approx 3 mins.
CIRCUIT: Perform 10 of each without a rest (or as little break as reasonably possible)
#1 Front Squats
#2 Box Jumps
#3 Renegade Row
#4 Up Downs
#5 1 Arm Snatch
#6 Squat Jumps
#7 Decline Push Ups
# 8 Body Blasts
Repeat x 3 times through.
Collapse on the floor in exhaustion.
STRETCH
Mission accomplished!
I’d be doing this Underbelly workout 3 times a week and combined with the healthy eating plan secrets that I always preach you will be in ultimate look good naked shape.
