Serious Motivation Quote For You

I realised earlier today that it is exactly 4 months to my wedding
day.

Wow!

The last 7 months have flown since I’ve been engaged and I
know this last 4 is going to go by even quicker.

Now this is where you come in. If you’ve got any tips for me
leading up to the big day I’d love to hear from you. Please!

Things are going along smooth so far but I want to avoid those last
minute stresses that pop up so if you’ve got anything for me I’d
appreciate your inside mail.

Also, we’re going to Hawaii for our honeymoon so any inside mail on
what you think I should do will go down really well (and impress my
soon to be wife cause I’ll look like I know what I’m doing!)

Anyway, enough about me.

Today I’ve got this really cool quote for you. I saw it this
morning on the page of one of the people who I follow.

By the way, if you’re on twitter, come and check me out on Twitter Munday.

Back to the quote though – it was from Christie Achenbach, a
Registered Dietician and Personal Trainer down in Florida. I loved
it and really thought you’d benefit from it today.

“Do not build up obstacles in your imagination”

How cool is that?

Really, how many times have we (I include myself here too cause
i’ve been there before) thought that something was so far out there
that it wasn’t achieveable?

Whether it’s saying “It’s too hard to get the body I want” or “too
hot” or “too cold” or whatever. I think you get the point.

I honestly believe that we talk ourselves out of achieving so much.

I have definitely noticed a shift in my results for success once
I’ve done that mindshift and block those negative thoughts from
appearing.

Yeah, we’re all human and can slip up from time to time but it
doesn’t have to be another nail in the coffin of your success.

Couple more things before I shoot outta here.

If you missed my post last week on the 13 principles to fire up
your fat loss furnace
you really need to check it out. It’s been my most popular post yet according to my blog stats when I checked em last week.

Don’t be the one that misses the boat.

I’ve had a busy week on the blog and also got these ones for you:

If you’re looking for a crunch free ab exercise this one is a
killer.

And if you are looking for a nutritional plan to complement your
training, check out my review of the Healthy Urban Kitchen Cookbook System.

This is the perfect gluten free eating system out there. Really
leans you down by cutting out the crap from your diet.

Okay, that’s me for the week.

Don’t forget let me know what you think with the wedding tips!

Hi Dan, Congrats on your upcoming big day! These next 4 months will fly by fast. First of all, enjoy it. Make a check list and keep it with you at all times just to keep organized. Make sure all the little details are taken care of. And accept help from those you can truly rely on. As for Hawaii, I went there on our honeymoon as well. We went to Oahu and Kauaii. Oahu, is the laid back busy city (not too busy compared to Chicago, though) and Kauaii is the laid back slower paced time to relax island. Not knowing where you are going specifically, its hard to say what you should see or not. I would go snorkeling, I would take a helicoptor tour, go to a luau, go to Pearl Harbor (if on Oahu). Also, some really REALLY good guide books are available on Amazon.com (or any bookstore I’m sure) written by Andrew Doughty. He has one for all the islands (Hawaii the Big Island Revealed: The Ultimate Guidebook, Maui Revealed: The Ultimate Guidebook, Oahu Revealed: The Ultimate Guide to Honolulu, Waikiki & Beyond, and The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook: Kauai Revealed). He lives in Hawaii and has written his recommendations based on his experiences and experiences of those he knows. We used his guide books and he was spot on. He also gives great directions on getting to places and his books include detailed maps. I highly recommend these guidebooks. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any additional info.

thanks Yvette for your awesome info! Funnily enough we are going to Oahu and Kauai as well! I was in Waikiki 5 years ago but with a bunch of mates so it will definitely be different going over this time and doing couples things. I am really looking forward to it. I will take your tips to make sure we are all focused and everything runs to plan. Thanks for commenting!
