Following on from my maiden healthy eating myths post last week I have another pearler today from our special nutritionist friend.
In Saturdays paper there was a small article that I nearly missed that finally had something that I’ve been saying on here, and to my clients, for years.
That low fat foods are actually bad for you.
Now to some that will come as a big shock but to long term readers you’ll know that makes sense because when the fat (i.e. the goodness) is taken out of a food, it has to be replaced with something rubbish and synthetic – usually sugars or other types of artificial sweeteners.
That is a big no, no for anyone trying to achieve weight loss success.

Now onto the main story of breaking the healthy eating myths portrayed by certain people in the media.
This nutritionist went on in the article to state that people should make the majority of their food choices from real foods supported the story.
Yes I agree with that statement – it’s what I’ve been writing and talking about for years!
But, this is the same person who tells her readers to eat low fat yoghurt, nut bars (which are candy bars in disguise) and all other types of processed snacks.
So what side are you on?
Make up your mind and stop confusing the general public that has to read your drivel everytime you come out and contradict one statement with the next.
To stop the nutrition confusion it’s best to surround yourself with people that you see featured on my blog.
I trust their quality content and wouldn’t recommend them if they’re views weren’t similiar to mine.
