DPM Performance June Member Of The Month


Congratulations to Julie Porter who receives this months DPM Performance member of the month award.

Julie is a member of the Pulse group sessions on Tuesday and Thursday night.

She has come along way from her first few sessions and is now at the head of the pack with her strength and fitness improvements.

Julie receives this months $50 Rebel gift voucher.

This is what Julie had to say when I told her she won

“Thanks for the award, I’ve been enjoying getting myself back into shape since I moved to Sydney and joined the class”.

It must be known that when Julie first came here from the UK last summer, she nearly didn’t make the end of the first session. Now she is a long way from that!

Now I grilled her on her insider secrets:

1) What is your favourite training exercise?
Running up and down steps in The Rocks (near where we train)

2)What is your least favourite training exercise?

Body Blasts

3) What motivates you to continue to train month after month even in winter?

Sending my measurements for a bridesmaid dress to my brothers fiance in the UK, knowing that I won’t arrive back home until 2 days before the wedding!

4) What’s the workout tip that has worked best for you?

Being prompted when the weights are too light for me!

Now what do you have to do to be in contention next month?

First of all you must be currently training with me but that is an obvious one right?

I am looking not just for those who are losing body fat, that will help though, but for those who have made a noticeable mind shift which has them on track for success to someone who just turns up week after week, month after month, year after year without missing sessions or making excuses.

The field is wide open though. The next DPM Performance member of the month could well be you!
